Yup. JP Morgan owned the Titanic, as well as part of the stake of the obscenely profitable Fed. Which was supposed to require putting up a huge amount of your own money but instead all the capital was furnished via loan from the Fed, which didn't exist yet. ¤

Nothing to see here

If only 3 people who had influence and were opposed to creating the Fed were killed that's enough, but I suspect there were many more smaller players on board that we don't know about.

Well supposedly the Californic went out there with nothing but wool blankets and sweaters. They were supposed to perform a rescue mission, but there was a mix up with an vessel that was doing illegal seal hunting. If the Californic was nearby, I bet they would've saved almost everyone except those 3 guys would be dead.

Wait, a rescue ship was sent to find survivors, but got distracted?

"Oh look, a seal!"

No, the captain of the Titanic saw signal flares from another boat he assumed was the Californic. It was the Samson that was out there doing illegal seal fishing, so they didn't want anything to do with anybody else.

So why did the Californication never arrive to help?
