For how much the claim to be about love and acceptance, the phrase “Hate has no home here” Comes to mind, they sure have filled their entire life, and I mean every aspect of their life full of hatred. When I was a young kid, a college girl in my neighborhood joined the Hare Krishna group and danced around at the airports. I couldn't figure it out. In the same bill, the government would take over student loans, thereby opening up the flood gate to institutions so they can jack their tuitions up and get as much government money as they can. Strapping students with the debt. The only winners are the Government and the schools. The student doesn't get shit.

Even trippier is that they felt the exact same way when Hillary lost and Trump was taking office. Make note of that. I’m not sure that the gap between us and them can / will ever be bridged. It’s two completely different realities. I dont sympathize with that side’s reality as I feel like it is complete chaos, evil, and extremely laxed with respect to protecting the country from both foreign and domestic threats...but it’s a mind twister to try and look through their glasses at the situation. If this country is ever in imminent danger (and to some degree, it is right now), it won’t be the Left that has the courage to fight for it. They would give the intruder the keys in a heartbeat and not even realize it.
BLM, Antifa, Iran, China, Illegal Immigration are all current intruders and the Left is partnering with all of them at the country’s expense. The end justifies their means.
