I was looking at the browsers and I was wondering which ones I should pick and why. My understanding is that Dissenter is basically Brave but slightly modified, though I'm not sure how. What are the differences, and why should I get one over the other?

I run both- Dissenter on my main computer, Brave on my ipad. Brave runs a little slow, and also gives me dropdown ads, which are kinda annoying, but eh I'll survive. Dissenter does not and I haven't had any problems with it on speed or anything yet
Do you think Brave have these issues only because it's the iPad version you're running? Or does the desktop version have the same problems too?

I unfortunately can't answer for you - I only downloaded the mobile version of Brave because I didn't want to use Safari anymore. I like Dissenter a lot, so I haven't downloaded Brave
