These are regular army troops.

Very odd to deploy that particular division. Not known for defensive measures, at least not by me. Mostly know for highly mobile weapons support(guys with the armored/unarmored gun turret humvees in Somalia and such) and transport in counter terror operations, is this correct?
They do get deployed for humanitarian purposes, and can operate independently from broader army or combined forces structures. So they're a bit overpowered for a domestic urban deployment but also capable of handling it.
