Wrong. The only date in the constitution is inauguration day. The electoral vote day is a tradition, but not in the constitution

I looked it up and there is some truth to this. The date must be the 6th and if not the 6th it must be changed by law. The grey area comes into play because they convened the joint session on the 6th and were just on a temporary recess. Sounds like a SCOTUS level interpretation, but we all know how those have fallen on deaf ears.
