Even mention that the masks don’t do shit against a virus, unless it’s n95.. told them that we’re better off just social distancing and washing our hands.. their response but we have to wear our masks.. 😖

If you're working on a Covid ward with significant daily exposure, then you need to be fit-tested for a n95 mask (Which stops the virus).
The masks in your picture GREATLY REDUCE THE RISK of catching the virus when out in public. Even though they're not 100% effective, they still prevent a huge amount of infections, which is why it's important to wear one.
