From what little I've seen they seem to be piggy in the middle. A concept I have talked about earlier in my political analysis.
The left annihilates people in the middle so that there's no confusion between friend and foe. When two sides form if you're in the middle and have a mixture of different positions on issues, for example left likes ice cream and cheese, right likes steak and brownies, if you like steak and cheese then you end up offending both sides and being battered around in the middle.
If boogaloo boys are centrist or anti-division (leftist policies are exclusive or exclusionary but there are people who for example have an opposite position on immigration but can get along fine) they'll pull in a lot of different types. Including wacky people who are just all out anti-government. They'll pull in a lot of antifa and BLM as well who won't really be there ideologically but they also want to attack the system as well as causing chaos operating under another banner.
There are a lot of small outfits out there, not just antifa, who are mad but don't have the numbers so they will whenever they can co-opt others and other groups including Trump supporters to do their bidding especially when there's some vague overlap in the target.
I think this is evolving as more of a composite movement which includes BLM/Antifa. As a concretion of groups all with an axe to grind against government this will make things confusing but it will also make it great for the journoscum who like to shift the blame around as it suits them, it gives them many options to choose from including those with a legitimate axe to grind that aren't even part of it.

They're using this to go after the Proud Boys. Saw some useless RINO bitching about all militant groups including Q anon and Proud Boys. Antifa will just popup later calling themselves whatever they want after their $1 bail is paid.
