If he did that guaranteed there would be a significant rebellion

If Trump were imprisoned, Biden's head would wind up on the end of a pike.
He won't because then there would have to be a court case, where evidence is shown. He'll ignore him "for the sake of unity".
I am sure they have war gamed out their options and I bet this ending is ugly for them.
A Trump arrest is crossing the line. And you know they want it BAD.
They cross that line and its over for them.
