Someone's awfully worried. There's no way they'd deploy that level of personnel and equipment to defend against some mere Trump supporters. Lol. What's really going on in DC?
Remember the Nimitz was on its way back to the US and then suddenly ordered back to the middle east? And now this back and forth as to whether the troops in DC will have ammo or not. Troop ordered and then countermanded is really some pre-coup stuff - 35,000 is a lot of people, how hand picked are they? And this give me concern if there is some other kind of general/colonel level stuff in the background that we don't see - and in that case if something big does happen, we can't have the illusion that the military is still going to be on the side of the people rather than the narrowest set of pols in DC. If there is really a serious foreign threat, we would have pedes reporting that the transport/support/logistics groups near where they live are also moving. but we don't have that.
