I believe in the God of the Bible. By FAITH I believe that God paid for my sins through the sacrifice of Jesus at Cross so by FAITH in the prophecies in the Bible (John 3:16, Romans 3:23; Romans 10:9,10; Ephesians 2:8-9 plus many others) I know that when I die I will stand before God blameless not on my own "goodness" but through His gift to me!
God is always just and will not let the guilty go unpunished (Exodus 34:6-7 and demonstrated throughout the first part of the Bible) and He must punish sin which is why we needed the gift of Christ's sacrifice. He forgives but that forgiveness costs something.
I also believe that (St.) Paul wrote extensively on prophecy and gifts of the spirit. We don't need to be ignorant of these things and God ALWAYS reveals what He is doing ahead of time so He gets the Glory.
Amos 3:7: God reveals His plans to his prophets.
Ephesians 4:11: God appoints some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.
ALL of these ministries exist today, including the prophets. You can look in 1Corinthians 14 for some suggestions on how to use discernment and ways to tell prophecies. Hint: once you have been redeemed, so has your spirit-man which gives you this ability.
Having said all this: God's true prophets are all in agreement about what is happening in America. He who has ears let him hear! GOD will expose the evil and corruption in this election and use TRUMP to usher in a great time of REVIVAL (Christianese for a heightened sense of awareness of who GOD is evidenced by many people turning to Him). It is He who will get the glory; not us or even Trump.

God hears the prayer of a righteous man. He also sometimes answers prayers on his time table...not ours. It may not be this go around, since suffering builds us up. But many in our great nation have been on their knees asking Him to intervene. Be patient, and love your enemies. He handles the vengeance...not us. Your post is spot on!

God helps those that help themselves. Prayer alone won't help, God will guide us but we need action. We need people to run for office and spread the word of Christ.
Fren, it is not just Americans, but millions of christians worldwide that are praying in agreement (yes, including persecuted Christians in china!). Our faith is in God alone. For that, I am certain of victory.
I would ask though, since there is always human agency in a lot of things. Can men be so blinded by false media lies, that they turn a nation away from its destiny, and God will have to raise up hope elsewhere? What do you think about that?
I have heard from the many based Chinese journalists and others that the Chinese church is praying for us as well as many other believers around the world! Exciting times!
GOD has always used a remnant of believers: Elijah and a few prophets against the Jezebel acolytes, Gideon and his 300, even the early disciples! Many more examples where a few believers overcame the corruption and unbelief of human agency!
I believe we can stand firmly on His promises about Justice and this election. I agree with you that victory is assured!
Indeed! God works through a remnant. I would say, being a remnant can be rather depressing, ala Elijah. I don't fear for myself, or God's plan, but rather for others around who will get sold out and suffer accordingly. God's almost always worked through a minority, lest it be men's hands that receive the glory and praise.
I'm heartened by the Zechariah 4: 6-7, where God clearly says that it is neither by might nor by power, but by His Spirit. Moreover, it continues in :8-10, that the hands of Zerubabbel that laid the foundation, shall also finish it. I love the reassurance that we will finish the work of the Lord and see His plan come true.
A question I would have for you is such: What would happen if the false prophets of baal (in the way of media) lead our nation away from God? In Esther 4:13-14, we see that God will raise up deliverance from elsewhere to save His people. Do you think that the USA might have crossed that threshold of rebellion that God now needs to raise up the church elsewhere?
Fren, the heart of our nation, along with its leaders are in the hands of the LORD! He will expose the false prophets in the media and elsewhere. As you quoted from Zechariah, it will be by His Spirit that He will accomplish this.
Zerubabbel was a descendant of the remnant of Judah in exile and was anointed by GOD to accomplish the rebuilding and completion of the temple; Esther was placed as queen by the hand of the LORD and faced potential persecution if she revealed her heritage. If these people did not act as God ordained, then GOD would have had His will despite them!
I believe that GOD'S anointed in America are being faithful to their duty. God is honoring His covenant with our forefathers and will protect this country from the evil that is attempting to possess it.
Do not lose hope, fren; GOD will fulfill His promise and expose the corruption and ensure that the legally elected leaders will prevail, namely, four more years of Donald John Trump!
Keep heart fren, keep faith! The timelines of Men mean nothing to God. He will move in His time, and ALL will know it was Him!
The Lord is about to answer a lot of prayers soon. The Lord will not let evil win. I think I have a great relationship with Jesus, and I have a feeling we will win, if we don't, then I don't think I have a good relationship with the Lord then. The Lord doesn't give up, he never gave up on me. Here I am, praising the Lord, because he never gave up on me. I will not give up on Trump until the 20th.. Glory to the all high, Jesus Christ!

If you pay attention to the underlying meaning you'll find more truth in the Bible than elsewhere.
The original scientific method (which academia has rapidly been moving away from) is very much in alignment with the Bible as well.
