Sargon is a genuine idiot. Just because he's on our side doesn't mean much since he constantly shoots himself in the foot. I think he's autistic, and I don't mean this as an insult. He reads/writes/talks exactly the same way: VERY literally.

Would bet money that he both thinks it wasn't a riot, but used that word because that's what the media is calling it and people wouldn't understand his joke otherwise. Only most people would. But he wouldn't.

I don't think he's capable of understanding the optics of certain words. If he'd of just said "protests" it keeps the meaning, maintains the joke, while delegitimizing the use of the word "riot" for some boomers walking around the capitol building.

He's like that guy from Kung Pow who the monks intentionally trained wrong as a joke. Punches himself in the face while thinking he scored a point.

It is funny. But generally he's unhelpful.
