He would never have started this fight, without knowing how to win.

I am deeply convinced that Trump is following some sort of plan to take down as many deep state actors as possible.

Let's keep in mind that without knowing the plan (and that all plans change in wartime situations as the situation changes) it may include Biden in the whitehouse and Trump hovering nearby in an untouchable position (details we can't know).
It's also possible our side made a miscalculation somewhere or were outmaneuvered. They are not infallable.
That said, I'm sure Trump isn't done fighting. But we just can't know what kind of fighting or under what conditions.

I'm not a subscriber to any secret plans. I'm just talking about what has been publicly stated. Trump said he'd stay involved. I can only assume he doesn't plan to stay involved (whatever that means) from a prison cell, so its safe to assume his clout/money keeps him out of jail. Then presumably we spend years or decades fixing this mess. That is the default plan as far as anyone can see it. If there is some secret plan, then bonus, but I think hoping for that is dangerous in the event it doesn't pan out.
I'm expecting no deus ex machina. If there are still good guys left in government or the military somewhere, then that is just a bonus.
