The q thing got it's start on one of the chans. It was a poster who claimed he was an insider. His posts were done in the form of 4 questions and then a statement. Very exciting at the beginning. There was wide support on Reddit /the_Donald. Then after a while the q contingent had a theory that leader (the poster on the chans who was an insider) was telling them that Jeff Sessions was still Trump's guy. It seemed to the rest of the site that sleepy Jeff had not done anything in Trump's agenda. He did arrest some pedos but no investigations on swamp creatures. So there was this divide between Q's and the rest of the community. I think they still believe that Sessions was effective.
