Almost if not all states have laws against unregulated militia, which is hilariously sad. Politicians have been making concerted efforts to ensure that 1776 can never happen again since the peace treaty with the British was signed.
I've just grown so jaded when it comes to America. Despite the lofty ideals of freedom promulgated by the Founding Fathers, we cowered to the timebomb of tyranny that is federal government. We're given the right to bear firearms, but in practice we have been given the right to hunt and shoot targets. Even soapboxing about the true purpose of the 2nd Amendment is enough to get you called a glowie or investigated, depending on the audience.
We lost this country a long time ago, it just took time for the cracks to appear as the whole structure slides apart, finally shedding the sugar-coated lie of liberty to adopt true tyranny.
Why would you give a shit about what they say? Just have a few friends on standby to make a small group. Boom, militia. Fuck the feds.
Okay but even if it is illegal, apparently if you get like 20k people and a barbed wire fence you are good to go. By the time we need an unregulated militia, I don't think the need to worry about the 'legality' of it will be there.
Like there is either going to be enough people that are willing to risk their life, freedom or possessions to fight - or their won't be.
