No joke. The people most dependent on cheap labor are cheap laborers. The fed usually just dumps money until the minimum wage is the same as before, it is practically in their mandate.
In my area it's the wealthy liberal folk that utilize all of the cheap labor from illegals. Not only to be cheap and save a buck, but it fucks over their mortal enemies blue collar self employed folks.
I'm reading Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell, and I was pissed to learn that when rent control was instated in certain cities, affluent people were renting apartments. In some cases, they rented year-round but only to visit from time to time; making the space largely vacant. Other apartments that could fit whole families were rented by single people.
Meanwhile the homeless population increased because the supply of available apartments dwindled. Furthermore because landlords were making less money due to the price controls, they couldn't spend more on maintenance and properties deteriorated.
I'm opposed to rent control entirely; but if you're going to decree it because you think it will help impoverished people, then at least require that the renters be impoverished. Government stupidity has consequences.
Keep reading Sowell until you know that the tweak you suggest is just another step on the wrong road.
The Central Planners keep trying different tweaks, and the real-world economic forces keep asserting themselves. Money will still find a way to buy what it wants, and poor people making poor decisions will still create poor consequences.
Every time Portland, Oregon passes another landlord hostile law, rentals get sold to single family occupants, decreasing the supply of rentals. When I was a practicing real estate broker in Portland, I sent out several thousand letters to landlords each time they passed a new law. Made a fucking fortune. Thanks Portland shithead liberal politicians!
And you are missing one more important thing: since investing in real estate makes no sense anymore when you are not allowed to profit there will be no new houses, so over time the shortage of housing gets worse. Some get demolished and the ones that remain are in terrible shape because they deteriorate like you said.
And often luxury apartments are exempt from rent control, so the elite doesn't have to suffer. The people that pass rent control laws never live in rent controlled apartments.
EVERY business/wealthy tax is a tax on the poor, because prices just rise to offset those taxes. EVERY raise on the minimum wage, is offset by a raise in the price of goods. It's all an illusion, just a shuffling around of number values that do nothing good for the American people.
debt cycles always must come to an end......A.I. told them it was around the corner, therefore they came up w/ the "Great Reset". Now it's pedal to the metal, destroying economies, to the point where people will be BEGGING for it. Fucking Devils.
when the USG needs to borrow more, China starts asking for collateral. The full faith and credit of the USG is no longer enough. That means farmland, roads, ports and power grid.
That's why they installed Harris. If you object it's racist.
Chinese model is let a huge portion of your elderly citizens die by releasing chicomflu. Then you don't have to pay for their healthcare just cremation.
Gates get his healthcare in an expensive private clinic in Switzerland. The utopia healthcares is for your own unwashed deplorable good - don't cha know.
The devaluation and abandonment of the dollar is what’s going to enter us into the crisis stage of takeover. Only huge corporations will be able to support workers because combinations of high health insurance and high variable costs like energy will fuck us/small business into a red credit default pit. People will demand a real communist dictator “fix” it. Intellectuals that fought for the fucking and us on the right will be of no use to the new masters. Seriously, get your house in order and prepare for 20-50 years of the worst of the worst you can comprehend.
I think in the Weimar the hyperinflation was so bad they carried money in wheelbarrows and used it as toilet paper. They had like 75 factories printing money night and day.
Huge corporations are already having problems remaining competitive & retaining employees in high inflation counties. I've lost several colleagues because the company could not match the doubling of salary that a competitor was offering them. We will see the same here. Idiocracy here we come.
This is honestly what needs to happen at this point.
The world needs to get off the USD trade for oil and they need to stop using the USD as the backup currency. If they did that, the US would hyper inflate literally overnight and the economy would collapse.
I think we're going to have to see it all collapse before we can build it back up.
Yep. The sheep are way too comfortable. They have forgotten about human nature in tough times. They have forgotten how ugly it can get. They have cast religion and God aside for big government. There will come a time when we have to say to our neighbors “I can’t help you” in order to protect our own families.
I love how they think it’s just $15 minimum wage...then the people that have worked there awhile and are already making $15 are making what newbies make, because they aren’t giving them a raise to $20. So now all salaries need to be raised.
Got to raise that minimum wage to pay for the high cost of gas incoming.
They won't raise the salaries on the employees that worked there longer... they'll just fire them. They'll pick a number of sacrifices to offset the new labor costs, and downsize that number of employees to compensate. The other option is that EVERYONE gets their hours cut. It's the only way small businesses can survive it.
This is what happens every time minimum wage goes up.
None of it matters. You raise any wages, and the price of goods go up proportionally, at the very least, if not more.
businesses need to churn a profit, and ever increasing profits at that. So they want their 5-20% bump over last year, and so they'll raise everything by double to make up for the minimum wage increase, plus that extra percentage bump.
And it's even worse, because since businesses have been devastated by Democrat lockdowns, they're not just trying to profit more than last year, they're trying to get back to at least where they were before the lockdowns, which means more of a bump needed to get there. So prices on things are ultimately going to rise +300%.
Honestly inflation was going to be an issue in 2021 even if Republicans stayed in power because of all the government spending and stimulus checks in 2020.
But now.. get ready for inflation levels I don't think we've seen in America since the '70s or even WWII
Yep, people don't realize it but we haven't begun to experience the detrimental economic effects of COVID lockdown damage yet. The stock crash was just the panic phase. I think we're heading into a protracted period of severe stagflation as a result of the neutered economy and printing trillions to offset the immediate effects.
We should start putting poison pills in all conservative controversial contracts. If agreed upon peramiters are met year 1, 2, and 3 of the first three years in office, the contract will have a 5000% cancelation fee.
Of course it is. Trump said so in a 2012 tweet (or thereabouts). China spreads that myth while blasting more carbon into the air than any other country.
All of the degeneracy in the West is communist psyop.
That's how it was for the Paris Climate Accord where all the money was being sent to China and India but they were both not lambasted or restricted for "carbon emissions"
I like the idea of decentralized energy grids, though.
California is doing some things correctly. A lot of people are using solar and charging power banks. It's mainly possible in California because of their weather.
The idea of having a self sufficient power generator for my home is a nice idea.
Let's go back to relying on the volatile Middle East for our energy needs! The arms dealers are probably jerking each other off at the thought of more 'intervention' in that region under Biden. Let the good times roll again!
Was just having a conversation the other day with my neighbor about the diesel “emissions” bullshit.
Nice conversation about how you can have the best diesel engine in the world, but those emissions systems will cripple it, breakdown more frequently than the engine itself, and kill power/efficiency.
Regularly haul excavators and track loaders in enclosed goosenecks across state lines, just have to know your rights and lie your ass off. Definitely can't go anywhere near CA or NE though, luckily I don't do business there
12 MPG is gracious. My FIL is a retired truck driver. He said his Pete 379 averaged 5-6 depending on the load.. that also included idling at stops though.
DEF and DPF absolutely destroyed pick mileage for diesels.
My 1st generation Duramax came from the factory with no Cat, No DPF or any of that shit, runs like a bat out of hell and gets 20mpg on the hwy. And it's a full size 4wd crew cab with a lift
Yeah, the first generation Duramaxes are very desirable. I would be happy with one if I can find one that's not beat to hell. On the other hand, Super Dutys with the 7.3 are considerably cheaper, and those are good engines as long as they have the forged rods and have been well taken care of w.r.t. the coolant additives. Not as powerful, but you can chip them too.
I'm simply going by my last company that had brand new 2019 equipment and expected the drivers to average 12 MPG. Just going off my own experience with the latest and greatest equipment. They knew that wouldn't happen but they did expect 9 MPG. Now if you spend a lot of time in mountainous areas which we didn't I'm sure that would have changed but the I-10 Corridor made it achievable.
They are underground iirc. There is virtually no environmental impact of this pipeline, no more than building a suburban road and laying plumbing and drainage.
The pipeline is the most economical way to get the Canadian oil into refineries to the south.
It will still go there, only it'll be more expensive (xpense=energy expended).... Expensive means more pollution, ie rail cars, tractor trailers, shipping.
The environmental impact of $100/barrel/$7 gasoline is two-fold: it becomes profitable to explore in more remote places with more energy intense methods (again, expense=energy expended=carbon pollution). And 2nd, it amplifies the need to secure supplies in the middle east, with military intervention.
When the military leadership tells Kameltoe they are in imminent shortage of diesel and jetfuel to exert any meaningful deployment of defensive assets, any military analyst will tell her that war to secure the oil is the only survivable scenario.
Trump understood that banning foreign production gives foreigners dominant control over the US security position. It's not good for the environment at all.
And Buffet has a double monopoly. He not only controls the major railroad moving the oil, he also controls the only company that makes the tanker cars!
I can imagine it, I know people people who when you show them Biden would close the Keystone pipeline and get ready for the price of everything to double and triple, they’ll just say they didn’t see it on CNN so it can’t be true.
I did the same thing. "Nuh uh, they can't add more judges to the SC" When I said there is no law limiting the number to 9 they just sat there looking at me with a 1000 yard stare.
Kind of the response I got from my boss when I told him about court packing and illegals’ amnesty making all voter reforms and future elections for neocon faggots impossible.
They don't need to pack the Court. Roberts' will give them everything they want - so the MSM can say the 'conservative Court agreed." Robert's will use the same legal argument he used in Texas v. Penn, et. al. Screaming "will have riots and mobs outside our houses!" if we take the case. And then the Cucks will slink away to their K street cocktail party for some free pain killer.
So this is totally what PA and the rust belt voted for right? They definitely wanted all fossils fuels to be banned over next 4 years and all their jobs to disappear
$15hr minimum wage is just going to be an over inflated $7hr minimum wage now. Once everything adjusts to the hyper inflation. Welcome to Venezuelan style market.
This is their great reset. It brings those of us making good money, and being well off, down to the level of those making minimum wage and barely surviving, and those people now become homeless, and welfare creatures. This is what they want.
All the liberals I know were barely hanging on during the obama reign.
This is going to be fun to watch them start to struggle to pay their bills as utilities and gas prices rise and smile at while I remind them that elections have consequences. Then I will offer to drive them to the food bank.
It won't last as long as you might hope. Their cascading financial failure will just act as cause for leftists in government to strip further financial autonomy from the individual and make citizens dependent on the state. Unemployment will start to soar, along with crime rates, and in response the state will crack down on individual rights further. This is the path of all communist regimes.
The difference is that we are coming fresh off of an administration that sought to end the overreach of government. When Biden inevitably screws everything up, people are going to be begging that Trump come back. Especially since most of the population is suspicious of Biden receiving more votes than Obama. People will realize that Trump was right about everything.
Nah, the Democrat playbook will be run as usual -- they'll say all of the economic failure is due to Trump's policies, and MSM will support that narrative while continuing to try to suppress alt media. While I agree that most people won't buy into that, there'll be enough of them that do for it to be at least partially effective. Just my 2c.
In a world of sane, perceptive individuals that might be the case. But a large portion of the population have become lobotomized consumer zombies, sucking down the swill the mainstream media vomits into their empty brain cavities.
International trade, under the guise of free trade, is an environmental disaster. The outsourcing of industry to foreign countries with vastly more lax environmental laws, and the transportation of cheap goods using massive shipping vessels, has an enormous impact on the environment. This combined with the fact that said outsourcing has disproportionately impacted the poor and minority groups in this country means that pulling out of free trade agreements and tariffs on countries with China should have bipartisan support.
The Left is full of giant idiots (no surprises here). They think that if you cancel pipelines that they're saving the environment somehow. The crude that would have gotten shipped via pipeline is still shipped, but instead by more inefficient methods like shipping it in tankers.
Pipelines actually reduce carbon footprint, but that takes more than 4 brain cells to process so the average Leftist is clueless.
If the argument is that it needs to be a “living wage” then it’s laughable to think they will stop at $15. These people think not being able to afford $1500/month rent is crippling poverty.
Rev 6:5,6 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
As concerned as I am for what's coming, I'm going to make sure to rub all of this in every gawddamned face of those dumb enough to vote for Biden. The salt is absolutely real, and the gloves are absolutely off.
We should just have a warning pop up and give the option to change the address to nitter automatically. So if someone really wants twitter for a specific reason they can still do it, but most will just pick nitter.
Exon is still considered low at 47 dollars, it was running about 68 or higher. With the possibility of gas prices going up, especially with Biden, investors are looking into buying it again. I bought it when it was in the 30s. Now Biden wants to close down the pipeline. Gas prices will go up again and companies like Exon will go through the roof
This is not in anyway certain. Many of the biggest investment funds in the world are pledging to divest from anything that harms the environment. Blackrock, which has 8 trillion (with a “T”) of assets under management, is phasing out oil and gas investments. Other funds are following their lead. New retail millennial investors are buying Tesla stock, not Exxon. Eventually, if you have no one who wants to have their money involved with what they perceive as a moral hazard, the stock cannot go up, and will go down. I would be careful investing in oil and gas companies, especially if all cars go electric in the next decade.
I got that, But i Bought it in the 30s. I buy Dividend Stocks. Im still making Dividends off it and already the stock is up to 47 a share. Most of My stocks are in Reits, A few in Gas and Oil and a few others in other sectors. I stay away from the Tech Industry, cause I dont Trust them.
The Canadians spend money on their end of Keystone.
Cancel Keystone and Stealin' Joe is telling our neighbor to the north to sod off or he's saying the same to the US if he reimburses Canada for their expenses and taxpayers foot the bill.
Anyone know the specifics of Keystone? Was it ever a formal treaty or a lesser agreement between governments?
They've already ruined industries like the American beef industry. Most of the beef America gets, comes from S. America now. It's quite ironic, because they used the excuse of environmental impact to crush the beef industry in America. But it only changed where the "environmental impact" takes place. I.e. they did nothing but crush American industry, to prop up foreign industry.
In the US we moved outside of the cities due to diversity being shoved onto us. That's why we prefer driving vs taking public transit, where you are risked being attacked for not being "diverse" enough.
I saw that yesterday and said the same thing to my daughter. We really have entered a clown world when a Cat turd is wiser than 99% of our nation's government.
That won't happen. Biden will give subsidy on the gas, if it comes to that, effectively hiding the fact that there is a fuel crisis. Ppl will pretend to not see because they would not give a fuck so long as they can get cheap gas. In their head, the govt. subsidy is being paid by the govt. and nothing is going out of their pockets. Telling you from experience in other countries where govt. does this kind of thing and ppl happily eat up bullshit.
The irony is that if that happens, Elon Musk (who's already made his position pretty clear a out which side he prefers) will see yet another boom business.
Please give me the argument for Elon being a globalist. I have not seen him promoting a one world government, censorship/suppression of free speech, trump bashing (I don’t consider the Paris accord stuff trump bashing). The dude was the only famous person calling out the Covid garbage. I see a huge difference between Elon and every other tech mogul. Honestly, Elon is doing much more fighting the good fight than any of us are on this forum- he is going against the grain and standing up for his principles publicly while risking his reputation and business and lots of money. But let’s hear your argument for Elon being a globalist.
Elon is in his own world, he seems like he doesn't like politics, he just likes to make things that will make the world a better place. When push comes to shove he always seems to fall on the right side.
The perfect storm. Shut down the gas and oil industry in the US putting tens of thousands more people out of work. Force America to start buying fuel from the Middle East again, empowering those who wish to destroy us, while making gas prices surge for everyday Americans trying to survive after their needless shutdowns during the pandemic. And one other thing. This was done merely to pander politically to an uneducated, spoiled brat and her ludicrous ‘Green New Deal’
Correction -- most estimates put the figure of those employed in oil and gas industry at around 10 million. That doesn't account for the additional millions of jobs created to support, house and feed the 10 million. So it will be many more than tens of thousands jobs eliminated.
The problem with raising the minimum wage, especially by almost double, is that no one else's wages increase. My wages don't increase yet the cost of my basic goods and services do. So the only thing that happens is that I lose money when this happens. It's fucking BS and everytime a demonrat gets in office they FUCK up the prices of everyday used items like gasoline and fuck us all!!! Pieces of shit everyone if them because they don't understand basic economics. I think that they really do want civil discord and uprising and ultimately a war. I loathe them because if their basic ignorance in everything.
He has to do all of these things first day in office because he won’t last 7. I gave him till inauguration Till he died. Illl amend that to the beginning of spring.
I think he will survive as long as he plays along with the China Democrats and their schemes. If he tries to impede them, he’ll likely die of natural causes in office and Kalala will step in
Unfortunately, I live in a blueish area, and I have yet to find a leftie or normie that is even remotely aware of the national debt. And they certainly aren't aware of the accompanying interest payment, or the fact that the fed is already at 0% interest rates, so has no tricks up its sleeves for when the inevitable crash occurs.
We're literally in a perfect storm of economic oblivion. And historically, Marxists feel they have a better chance at revolution if a country is in economic and political turmoil. (I'm sure that's just total coincidence though.)
Sooo ready for 25 dollar gallons of milk. To go along with my 10 dollar box of cherrios.
That’s why we need a $25 minimum wage
fuckin kek

Requiring the renters be impoverished leads to renters not trying to better their position.
People should be encouraged to own their own property. It helps maintain the property and encourages participation in the community.
I know someone who controls a rent controlled apartment in San Francisco.
2 bedroom - close to Market Street. Underground parking.
$800 per month, and it's used as an occasional vacation place.

Sounds like California. An evil land I am all to familiar with.
Weimar'd
Walmart or Weimart?
Weitmart, as in Wei Dynasty.
Weimar, was the Republic Hitler destroyed, you mean to say Wehrmart

UBI (a.k.a. Marxism) incoming.
Theyve pretty much accustomed half the population to relying on govt checks alread.
This plan was farther along than I realized.
debt cycles always must come to an end......A.I. told them it was around the corner, therefore they came up w/ the "Great Reset". Now it's pedal to the metal, destroying economies, to the point where people will be BEGGING for it. Fucking Devils.
Communist Occupation Via Infectious Disease
UBI and Social Security would be worth dog shit if pay rates skyrocket.
Essentially, seniors would be fucked and we'd have to adopt the Chinese model.
Raise your hand if you know what the Chinese model is.
YOU foot their entire senior years, and they run your life, including your choices in society and marriage.
The Chinese model v2.0
when the USG needs to borrow more, China starts asking for collateral. The full faith and credit of the USG is no longer enough. That means farmland, roads, ports and power grid.

NY, PA, MI were testing grounds.
How would they run your life?
Of course boomers want this. Fucking go with dignity and leave something for SOMEONE in America, you fucking scum.
Aka runaway inflation
I CAN'T PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE WITH $25/HR! WE NEED A LIVING WAGE! WE DEMAND $50/HR!
25? That’s chump change. Should be at least 1000-5000/ hour. Imagine how many dollars we could all have. Kek
Make it $30.......why not?!?!
At least healthcare will be free
That's where you're wrong, kiddo.
It will be free because you will die way before you get to see the doctor.
Kek
Deathcare is more like it.
Anything for wako Bill Gates and the green guys to "thin the Hurd."
Gates get his healthcare in an expensive private clinic in Switzerland. The utopia healthcares is for your own unwashed deplorable good - don't cha know.
Only for muh minorities and illegal immigrants.
illegal invaders is what I call them.
You mean newly minted American citizens
Ah now we will be dealing with Canadian prices and bled dry to the point where it’s unlikable and china will launder money in and buy up everything
Fuck that. I just bought a new dairy cow. You can come to my house for butter and milk.
The devaluation and abandonment of the dollar is what’s going to enter us into the crisis stage of takeover. I think in the Weimar the hyperinflation was so bad they carried money in wheelbarrows and used it as toilet paper. They had like 75 factories printing money night and day.
Caused by HUGE reparations demanded by the French, British, and Americans.
Only way out of this disaster was to run the presses day and night.
Accords?
Demands from a Conqueror.
Yes, the seeds of WWII were sown on 11 a.m. Nov. 11th, A.D. 1918.
Hey, who was in charge of Germany back then? Just asking, for a fren. Thanks!
Gonzo nose?
Dollar bills probably aren't flushable
Huge corporations are already having problems remaining competitive & retaining employees in high inflation counties. I've lost several colleagues because the company could not match the doubling of salary that a competitor was offering them. We will see the same here. Idiocracy here we come.
"Welcome to Costco, I love you."
And then the system starts failing and the idiots think the only way to fix it is to double down by getting a communist leader in
Can our dystopian future include rollerball?
Yeah we kill those people and their enforcers.
This is honestly what needs to happen at this point.

He’s mandating $15 an hour minimum wage. So get ready to go ask your boss for a raise with the exorbitant inflation that’s about to occur.
I love how they think it’s just $15 minimum wage...then the people that have worked there awhile and are already making $15 are making what newbies make, because they aren’t giving them a raise to $20. So now all salaries need to be raised.
Got to raise that minimum wage to pay for the high cost of gas incoming.
Because liberals are narcisistic, selfish, idiots who think they know everything with zero damns given to actual consequences.
Minimum wage. pfft. Here, can you help with this pull start for my perpetual motion machine?
They won't raise the salaries on the employees that worked there longer... they'll just fire them. They'll pick a number of sacrifices to offset the new labor costs, and downsize that number of employees to compensate. The other option is that EVERYONE gets their hours cut. It's the only way small businesses can survive it.
This is what happens every time minimum wage goes up.
Yep. Not good.
Oh lovely. Can’t wait for that, as somebody who works for a small business.
None of it matters. You raise any wages, and the price of goods go up proportionally, at the very least, if not more.

$15 only applies to people legally entitled to work here. Increasing the minimum wage will send a lot of jobs to illegals.
Honestly inflation was going to be an issue in 2021 even if Republicans stayed in power because of all the government spending and stimulus checks in 2020.

Wonder if the dollar's bubble will burst
Oh, we’ll blow those doors off, on the way to Weimar inflation.
The pipeline isn't even finished I think just barely made it across the Canadian border due to setbacks in 2020... that said this is dumb.
These assholes make doing business impossible. Imagine trying to plan an investment in this environment.
That's exactly what their plan is.
We should start putting poison pills in all conservative controversial contracts. If agreed upon peramiters are met year 1, 2, and 3 of the first three years in office, the contract will have a 5000% cancelation fee.
I'm pretty convinced now that the entire push for green energy is just a Chinese propaganda tool to hurt our economy and help theirs.
Exactly. The Chinese don't have oil so they push the green agenda making the Americans invent some oil alternatives. Then they will steal the ideas.
Exactly my point. They know they have cheaper manufacturing, so they push the green shit because it pushes everything to manufacturing
It's almost like the government doesn't have the American people's best interest in mind!
They want all the oil
Exactly.
Communism cannot foster innovation, because innovation is antithetical to the core principle of communism.
...holy shit you're probably right.
There is a Trump tweet somewhere from like 6 years ago that says this.
Or the Chinese get cheap gas and dumbasses get to feel good because they exported all the pollution and jobs to China
Of course it is. Trump said so in a 2012 tweet (or thereabouts). China spreads that myth while blasting more carbon into the air than any other country.
All of the degeneracy in the West is communist psyop.
This is how you know it's entirely bullshit. Because no one cares about China emitting a shit load of carbon and NOx
That's how it was for the Paris Climate Accord where all the money was being sent to China and India but they were both not lambasted or restricted for "carbon emissions"
Biden is removing that shit.
You can't manufacture weapons on the scale necessary to fight a war with renewable energy.
You can’t even power an electrical grid with renewables.
I like the idea of decentralized energy grids, though.
California is doing some things correctly. A lot of people are using solar and charging power banks. It's mainly possible in California because of their weather.

Both of which don't have a long product life and add to heaps of trash in landfills
Hey, we can ask the Chinese to build them for us!
Here's the blueprints, the money, the resources and some more money.
Btw can we take out another loan with you guys? Here's some more aid.
This guy gets it
Trump said exactly that...
Let's go back to relying on the volatile Middle East for our energy needs! The arms dealers are probably jerking each other off at the thought of more 'intervention' in that region under Biden. Let the good times roll again!
"Assad must go" Here we go again.
Currently 20,000 defending the end of democracy.
Fuck the troop. They are traitors.
Just dumb rule followers.
Pawns in a bankster's war
$7 a gallon gasoline equates to $9 a gallon diesel. If a tractor-trailer gets 12 miles to the gallon expect your bag of potato chips to run about $10
Dare to dream. Cut that number in half and you'll be about right.
He's from Texas.
laughs from behind steering wheel of fully deleted 2021 L5P
Averaging 22 MPG currently with light loads
Was just having a conversation the other day with my neighbor about the diesel “emissions” bullshit.
Nice conversation about how you can have the best diesel engine in the world, but those emissions systems will cripple it, breakdown more frequently than the engine itself, and kill power/efficiency.
Thanks, Obama. Cunt.
That was Bush, not Obama. All the insane air quality targets rolled out under Bush, implemented and enforced by Hussein.
You are also not transporting 80k pounds of cargo in that across country.
But good on you for deleting that shit DEF. Biggest hoax ever.
Regularly haul excavators and track loaders in enclosed goosenecks across state lines, just have to know your rights and lie your ass off. Definitely can't go anywhere near CA or NE though, luckily I don't do business there
Better fuel economy than I'd expect for something that large and heavy.
My Ram 2500 does about 16 on the highway.
Does your 2500 haul 80k pounds? He wasn't talking about your Ram. Now delete that system and get better mileage.
12 MPG is gracious. My FIL is a retired truck driver. He said his Pete 379 averaged 5-6 depending on the load.. that also included idling at stops though.
That 12 mile a gallon is the EPA standards as of Obama error. Yes I said error and not era because that's what he was
Then maybe they should stop regulating all the emissions junk on those engines that makes them less efficient and less reliable.
Maybe. The Paris climate Accord had much to do with it. Working. But at the moment the president's plate is quite full.
This all sounds like a prologue to Atlas Shrugged.
Yep
I think average is 5-7 MPG full load.
Source: worked in transportation for 6+ years.
Yeah, my data is from 2012. Under the regulations, they should be able to get to 12 average across the fleet by 2035(?) if I remember correctly.
Which is a good thing but only if we can keep these idiots from messing with our oil Independence.
Just so we are clear. Cancelling the keystone pipeline will simply require all of that oil to flow through the BN railroad - owned by Warren Buffett.
How else can we have agent provocateurs derail said traincars if the oil is in a pipe?
They can also shoot the pipelines.
Railroad companies have a monopoly right now with highly inflated prices to boot.
And Buffet has a double monopoly. He not only controls the major railroad moving the oil, he also controls the only company that makes the tanker cars!
Yep prices to move product on rail has skyrocketed this last decade
I think this is just Xiden tossing soy to his far left critics. The Keystone pipeline is one of their mental screensaver issues.
biden isnt responsible for any of this. he makes precisely ZERO decisions.
Didn’t say “biden” I said Xiden.
So long BRK.B?
Warren Buffet would say - you should always long BRK..
Well this is a step towards banning oil forever
I can imagine it, I know people people who when you show them Biden would close the Keystone pipeline and get ready for the price of everything to double and triple, they’ll just say they didn’t see it on CNN so it can’t be true.
Told my coworker Biden will pack the court and he said I was a conspiracy theorist. You can’t help these people
I did the same thing.
Definitely wasn't fraud at all
"Voted"
They saw it completely opposite of Ohio!
Along with wiping out our savings. Can’t have people who managed a budget able to defend themselves from government dependency!
Pretty sure planning for your later years is white supremacy, racist.
The grasshopper v the ants. And the grasshopper is now legion.
Don't want us to have the ability to be autonomous running your own business either. Go work at Walmart bigot
All the liberals I know were barely hanging on during the obama reign.
This is going to be fun to watch them start to struggle to pay their bills as utilities and gas prices rise and smile at while I remind them that elections have consequences. Then I will offer to drive them to the food bank.
Don't do that
Let em starve
Plus those capital ships are burning bunker oil. Do the peoples have any idea what megatonnage of pollution is cause by burning bunker? Nope.
This can only benefit our adversaries. Why would any nation willingly cut off a vital source of energy?
A natural gas pipeline which would bypass the current pipeline which goes through Ukraine.
Where Obama sent his Secretary of State and VP's son's to work with the largest privately owned natural gas company in Ukraine.
ZERO CONNECTION. PURE COINCIDENCE. ASSAD MAN BAD.
MSM in NY don’t drive. They could care less.
Edit: Could not care less.
*couldn't care less
They will when that metrocard quadruples in price.
There goes my job.
Followed immediately by "$15 an hour minimum wage isn't enough! We need $30!"
If the argument is that it needs to be a “living wage” then it’s laughable to think they will stop at $15. These people think not being able to afford $1500/month rent is crippling poverty.
But I deserve to live in downtown Seattle at 18 with my 25 hours a week at McDonald's.
while spending $45 every day at starbucks!
You know what's really funny?
They're going to blame it on Trump's economy.
Ok, it wasn't that funny, I guess.
Nah, its sad and funny. We know the truth.
I find solace in the fact that they will turn on Biden within the year.
Reserving my r/politics ban to throw it in their faces when they reap.
But it "sAveS tHe EnviROnMeNt!" As they use batteries in phones mined through slave labor in Africa
Slaves gotta mine something in Africa, you bigot.
And all the lithium in the landfill seeps into the water supply.
Expensive gas, caravans coming up to the border, throw in some journalists getting beheaded and it'll feel just like the 0bama years
Don't forget the spying. We need the spying on the journalists - again.
Thank God nobody will have jobs to drive to!
How is BLM going to afford to make Molotov cocktails now?
Massive donations from Gatorade, Nabisco and Cisco.
Blubber from their front line? Oil lamps Makin a comeback.
As concerned as I am for what's coming, I'm going to make sure to rub all of this in every gawddamned face of those dumb enough to vote for Biden. The salt is absolutely real, and the gloves are absolutely off.
EVEN TRUMP DIDNT SIGN EO'S ON FIRST DAY TO REVERSE OBUMMERS SHIT. THIS IS PURE TYRANNY.
Trump definitely did reverse several Obama EO’s on his first day. And I was thankful for all of it.
Do you write poetry? If so, I would love to read some of it.
DON'T POST LINKS TO TWITTER
You're aiding the enemy instead use nitter:
https://nitter.net/catturd2/status/1350960270001242116?s=19
Just replace the twitter.com with nitter.net in the address.
Thanks! This needs to be said in all twatter posts.
I'm not really about regulation (lol) but maybe we should ban them.
We should just have a warning pop up and give the option to change the address to nitter automatically. So if someone really wants twitter for a specific reason they can still do it, but most will just pick nitter.
they dont care since they get paid by government- they want government to rule
Good thing I bought Exon Stock when it was in the high 30 Dollar Range.
Nice move! I took a stab at it on the way down near there but ran out of patience and moved on to other investments.
Same.
LOL Have you seen Fun with Dick and Jane?
What's going to happen with Exxon?
I bought Exxon as well several months ago, higher cost basis than you though. Think it will be a good dividend investment going forward.
'biden handlers are ready to cancel troublesome middle east peace agreements on first day - heres why thats a good thing'
At least you guys will be buying your own supply. We ship our crude away and buy it back from people like Saudi Arabia
You Canadian or what,?
yee
They've already ruined industries like the American beef industry. Most of the beef America gets, comes from S. America now. It's quite ironic, because they used the excuse of environmental impact to crush the beef industry in America. But it only changed where the "environmental impact" takes place. I.e. they did nothing but crush American industry, to prop up foreign industry.
libs ironically destroying the rain forrest
In the US we moved outside of the cities due to diversity being shoved onto us. That's why we prefer driving vs taking public transit, where you are risked being attacked for not being "diverse" enough.
The city we live in has good public transport. We can take a bus or train to many places. When we need a car we rent one.
If you live outside a city it's a different story.
I saw that yesterday and said the same thing to my daughter. We really have entered a clown world when a Cat turd is wiser than 99% of our nation's government.
They are idiots, and high gas prices only hurt people who work.
They've printed trillions. The price increases are coming either way.
Yep. Debt increased from 21T to 27T and thats with all the tarriffs funding us too
That won't happen.
I can't wait to hear all these libtards blame Trump for every problem the next 4 years.
The irony is that if that happens, Elon Musk (who's already made his position pretty clear a out which side he prefers) will see yet another boom business.
Is Elon actually right or is he just catering/pretending to be
Elon literally doesn't give a fuck? He wants to die on Mars for a reason. He's already on the 'fuck this shit I'm out' stage.
He's Libertarian. Meaning he is a lot closer to our Politics than the far-Lefts
He's globalist. It's just that other globalists piss him off.
Disagree
OK? He's still a globalist.
Yes just install his chip and all will be well....
I think he's catering, the Fed would not have injected his company with cash for no reason.
Fucking gas in my area already went up 50 cents last week 🤬🤬
Hey, lets raise the minimum wage up to $15 an hour so they can pay double for a gallon of gas.
This is gonna fuck Canada so hard.
Theres always a silver lining I guess.
Wanna bet the media spins it as good for the environment that gas is more expensive? And that all their useful idiots drink it up?
They'll make these faggots think it's "worth it" as if they're saving the planet while China does whatever the fuck for profits.
No one but dominion voted for this shit
There was a fake news article about Bill gates owning more farmland in the us than anyone else.
Truth is, china now owns a majority of our farmland and that's something we need to put a stop to
Doesn’t he have to follow a process? I mean that’s why DACA didn’t get rescinded...
Implying Dominioncrats observe rules and laws?
Who’s going to stop them?
Yeah foolish me thinking that laws mean anything when it comes to our side...
Democrats win at ALL costs. Republicans lose for a small fee.
Dropped the ball. Should've booted them when we have both houses but rino's gonna rino
Jimmy Carter Redux
This fucks over Canada more than anyone HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
