No, Aussies are extremely eager to please their owners. (Edit - MOST Aussies, after watching the youtube video. Those people haven't made it clear to the dog who the head of the pack is!). I have two and I could put those cupcakes on the coffee table and go to the bathroom and they wouldn't touch them. They know you don't take the Alpha's food. Then I would give them a piece of freeze dried liver for being such good boys. :-)
Most of the Lab mix dogs I've had in the past would grab a cupcake and run. LOL

It is one thing for them to not take it off a table, quite another for it to not take it when someone is literally offering them on a platter.
