The whole "Muslim ban" was a restriction on countries that could not properly vet their passengers. Many countries who have much higher Muslim populations are not part of that EO. If they recend this it will allow them to flood bad people in our country unchecked. They're really clueless. But I guess virtue signaling is better than border security.
Another thing the media won't tell you is the list of countries was originally drafted by the Obama admin.

i find it really sad that we have to play this game - so many people lack the ability to extrapolate, that they actually need to be walked to the cliff before they can envision the danger of falling off. It's incredibly frustrating. We are a population of toddlers touching a hot stove, running away crying, then coming back to touch it again.

Something weird is going on in the Capitol. They way that our President asked us to come to see a boring speech and then asked people to go to the Capitol where the colossal shit show went on was very perplexing. I hope some day we understand it.

Most of these EOs are worthless. You cannot simply issue an EO saying "All previous admin EOs are void now, so nyah!" - the shit is simply unenforceable. Most of the others require assent from one or both houses of Congress (the House has a very slim majority, the Senate is 50/50... and neither side is guaranteed a majority vote for even half of this shit.)
