He made it January 22 because it's the anniversary of Roe v Wade. Every year there is a huge March for Life pro-life march in DC and elsewhere on Jan. 22. You've just never heard of it because mainstream media never reports it. But the date has little to do with term dates and has to do with Roe v Wade date.
