We all know the disastrous affects that fatherlessness and single motherhood has on children, but the father-child bonding begins the moment she is born, to the point where his brain waves change when he holds his newborn for the first time. Wonderful initiatives like this Proclamation are the perfect opportunity to lionize fathers and bring them back to the parenting table from and before day zero. Of course mothers are more directly affected by abortion than fathers, but we can't ever let that make us ignore fathers entirely. The baby wouldn't exist without him! The relationship between the prospective mother and father plays a crucial role in whether or not the baby is aborted to begin with. We cannot afford to tacitly contribute to the left's war on fathers from the equal impacts on toddlers by mothers and fathers to the amount of UnPaId WoRk that fathers do (compiled by the liberal Brookings Institute, no less.
