I think a good example of this is their whole “the storming of the Capitol was worse than 9-11” narrative, and how all of our logical or rational or statistical arguments against that narrative are less effective than memes with that little old lady with the American flag. Her sweet, smiling face completely undermines (and ridicules) their narrative of a “violent insurrection by domestic terrorists”.
