As has been said here in a few posts, one option is to pivot to local and state level candidates and start reform of the Republican party from there.
It won't be instant.
If you can't run, support someone who can. If you can run, but can't win, see if you can get appointed to a local board. It's a toehold into government, you can 'promote' from there into a board that matters more such as Planning or ZBA then up from there.
There are implications for being part of government such as limits on doing business with the part of government you are part of and in some states, your ability to be a fundraiser. Learn about these before you go down these paths.
