I can see how their optimism can be annoying. I myself am an optimist and delight in annoying people with my sunny disposition :D

But grounds for flogging them and blaming them for stuff out of their control? That's not cool. And as mentioned it is rather divisive so anyone attacking the community in this way is sus to me.
