I'm seeing weird little boxes that appear for a second outside the browser window when I type in comments like this. I don't think TDW is compromised. But I wouldn't be at all surprise if Clowns in America, the CCP or other bad actors have gotten into my machine and doing things.
That’s just a formatting glitch somewhere in the code. On my iPad I get the ghosted highlight of the last button I clicked too until I scroll again, and then it goes away.

It is only recently that Firefox has been deciding what I can see. I appreciate their concern but I have been making my own decisions for a long while. I barely keep up with the constant change. Be healthy and safe.
I uninstalled firefox from my phone for the brave browser and waterfox. I need to find an alternative to firefox on my laptop still. I used brave but it was sucking up tons of my computing power and causing the laptop to run so slow it was unuseable.
It is all just so frustrating -- 60 years of my life: freedom of speech (and the responsibility of that freedom) was always an imperative.
A bachelor of arts in journalism (before it shifted to communications - and we know where that lead us) and I firmly believed in the essential business of objective fair reporting.
Then 2015 hits and shit hits the fan -- so today -- freedom of speech is pretty much a myth like the Epic of Gilgamesh. And the appropriateness of that is surprising...

Just an update:
I am unable to arrive at a log-in screen for the TDW on my i-pad so I have shut down that devise....
