Over weekend installed Expressnet VPN and am using DuckDuckgo as web browser.

Brave & Dissenter (from Gab) as back up browsers. Much easier than I thought. They are easy to use. Fantastic to not have #google%$ tracking you all over internet. Also cheaper.

Worth it for peace of mind for our family. Duckduckgo - seems as good as google

I’ve been with Duck for awhile. Someone on Reddit posted how to change your browser because I’m computer struggler but it was so easy . It works perfectly

Private Internet Access VPN. No logs, etc. Constantly updated. Used it for years. Highly recommend.

Also - https://www.eff.org/pages/tools

AND Tor

Check out MetaGer and Qwantt for search engines. I'm liking them a lot more than DuckDuckGo.

Here's a rundown on the different search engines: https://restoreprivacy.com/private-search-engine/

I dumped google years ago. Been using Bing. I'm trying to move to duck but I don't like it.

Bing is Microsoft, and it's okay. I've gotten a lot of use out of Bing, but still... I think it's time to move on, and Duck just doesn't seem to have a lot of the functionality google has. Still, I won't use google. Still trying to break myself of the habit of saying 'google it.' when someone asks something I don't know.

On duck you can add !b or !g and it proxies a bing of Google search for you.

I “duck-duck” it, ...same amount of syllables and just as catchy...

Brave has a built in ad blocker and it runs faster than other browsers.

DDG is a search engine and not a browser. What are you talking about?
