There's no such thing as a labor shortage. There's only 'not enough people are willing to work for the price we are willing to pay'. And that's a good problem to have.

As a owner of a farm in northern california, I can't find enough people to run upper management or labors because most who wants a job won't relocate, they act like people don't travel for a job. I offer 25$ hr and free housing and people in california think that is way to low of a pay... They always say that they deserve 30-35$ hr because of other jobs offer it...

I roll my eyes since most don't give free housing and to rent in california cost a arm and a leg....

I have no college degree and I hire mostly college grads...

So you agree? There's not enough people willing to work for the wage being offered?

So either you must import foreign illegals, or you must raise wages and help Americans.

$25 just isn't that much anymore... Gas station by me starts at $21 and includes health insurance, 401k matching, etc.

Thats obviously the other solution to the problem- bring in more people.

It's simple supply and demand - for wages to grow, the supply of labor must me lower than demand for labor.

How does my desire to limit the supply of labor make me bernie?

Wages must grow because inflation is going wild. Businesses must be forced to compete for competent labor, and higher wages will be the result.
