Need to revamp education. General ed to age 13 then 6 years and 3 different vocational schools for most. Those who perform at the top go to college for advanced stem degrees. The rest take apprenticeships. A national academy of sciences should be our best college. One that u can't buy ur way into. And forget no child left behind it should be no child held back the one lagging behind can take remedial summer courses.

Completely agree. Those that want to take a trade should be able to start working at 16 during the day and take only relevant night classes to become licensed. At 20 they could be a licensed journeyman with a great earring potential in their 20s.
