It’s a good thing America isn’t facing any serious external military threats at the moment because if there ever comes a day when enemy soldiers step foot on American soil congress and the government will probably argue for weeks, fail to organize any form of coherent response due to minor partisan issues and then fall apart fleeing to their own bunkers. It would be up to the people and states to do anything.

Our entire government will be a dumpster fire soon. It's been smoldering for decades.
