He is surrounded by people that are filtering and gate-keeping info. They're all singing the same song in unison: "You're at fault for 1/6; if you don't leave quietly there will be more violence; If you leave quietly we can win next time".
^Some of those people singing that tune are probably well-meaning; Most of them are sharks and snakes looking out for their own interests / their party's interests.
No one truly has the American republic's best interests in mind.
I don’t think Trump is so weak willed that he would just go along with what the people around him say. He may be low on options in his current position, but I don’t think he is done fighting.
I don’t know, I wish he would, but I don’t think his lack of action is because he is blindly trusting people around him. He may have decided the best way to fight at this point is to lead the movement outside of office. Start efforts that focus on activism and local elections kinda of like Soros has. I believe he is really smart and a fighter, and I think he is far from giving up.
