None of the actions we've been seeing makes sense.
They've got a lot of arrests to make.
Looks like DC is going to be under Martial Law.
This is normal, and required to give them jurisdiction to perform inauguration security duties.
I don't remember 20k troops being needed for inauguration security duties before. They don't need to worry about the red hat crowd. We've been told to stay home. What this looks like is preparation for BLM, Antifa, and other leftists who don't take bad news well.
I was only referring to the act of deputizing them, not the numbers. NG has been at these events before, but not this many.
I hope you're right, but those politicians are all cowards. I would not be surprised if they truly wanted these troops to protect them from the "scary insurrectionists"
