I'll never believe for a minute that Trump "turned his back" or "gave up." I can be convinced that he ran out of options that didn't include "deaths of innocent American citizens" or "all out civil war." Because those options would not be something that he would want to be the cause of for the country that he loves so much.
And for that, I would not disparage him. I won't turn on him, because he never turned on me. He's a fighter, and a winner. But nobody wins them all. And I'll hope for the best while preparing for the worst.

If we ultimately lose this fight, it does not signal the end of the war for our great US. Even as things may become, it's still the best country on the planet. And I have faith that a conservative counter culture will bring us back to some based moral values in the coming years.
