Hey everyone, I've been informing my friends and coworkers. I thought I'd turn to here as well. If y'all could say a prayer for my parents who have been in the hospital for a little over a week it would be much appreciated. My mom is 68 and may need a tube down her throat if things don't get better. Fortunately, she says what they're giving her now is helping out a lot. My dad (73) is doing good but could still use prayers to fully recover since he is a heart patient. They have been coughing non stop which is why they went to the hospital.

I would advise against a ventilator, as once you get on one of those, you will hardly ever make it out alive. Survival rates are very low. CPAP does basically the same, but is much less invasive.
Also, ask about Ivermectin and HCQ. Plenty of studies to the positive effects of those!
72 hours is the average time it takes for an individual to become ventilator dependent. Doctors are purposefully killing with them.
Can confirm. My brother’s a doctor (and was helping out in a hospital in NYC last winter when things first got really bad). He noted then (and advocates against their use now) that the use of a ventilator is basically a death sentence. Once on, slim chance you’re coming off (he told me he had 1 patient survive that was on a vent. Not sure how many total were on them, but he said early on/before there was much data, that survival was at best 10% once on a vent, and that they cause more harm than good in a situation where simple oxygen/breathing tube would suffice).
Edit - feel like I’d add this just for anyone interested, since I know we’re all into HCQ+Z+A. This is from both my brother (who was using it for his Covid patients last year), and my dad (who’s a pharmacist). Neither of them (particularly my brother, who again, was using/prescribing it) are fully convinced on its efficacy (as a prophylactic or a treatment), but they are both SHOCKED at the disinformation campaign against it, with talking heads literally claiming it’s deadly, and some states banning it briefly (my dad is more aware of why this is, having dealt with big pharma and their reps his whole life. HCQ=cheap=bad for them). My brother had already told me he has no problem prescribing it for anyone that wants/asks, because it’s that safe and we know this from decades of use (and he’s already written me a RX). His take is just very rational-minded and the way a doctor is trained to think: in that it’s safe, but we simply don’t have enough research and evidence to conclusively state its effectiveness for Covid (don’t read into this wrong - this is more a defense of it than anything else). My brother, fwiw, is relatively apolitical, but leans right and voted Trump.
She is definitely not using a ventilator and will refuse it. I just spoke with her again and she is requesting HCQ and ivermectin along with my dad. My mom's lungs aren't doing that much better right now and they will be transferring her to a respiratory place where they can "build her lungs up". She will be getting tested for pneumonia as well (she has had it before). My dad may be discharged tomorrow or get transferred as well, but he is still coughing. He may be posting on here soon since he also uses this website even back during the reddit days.
