There is no such thing as a democratic republic. We are still a constitutional republic that has been perverted by the corrupted politicians. We need to stop thinking like this because it leads ppl to start believing it and that can breed complacency. We have many programs that are reminiscent of socialism and democracy but that does not make our country socialist or a democracy.

I am not disagreeing with you we just need to hammer that point home. Even though we are in crisis our constitution still stands. Yes we have been taken but that doesn't mean it will stay that way.
