This is happening EVERYWHERE here in Utah. Small town and big cities alike. Ammo is gone before hitting the shelves and guns are becoming more and more difficult to find.
No problems. Just that there isn't any . Scalpers have them on Gunbroker for $285 a thousand, when normal retail is $55ish. (guessing dealer cost is in the mid 30's).
Also in Utah, my bro tried to buy ammo, but they wouldn't sell him more than one box, so I said I would take a box, they told me I couldn't. I was pissed as fuck.
You know what I don't understand? In NJ, have a friend that works for gun store. Been insanely busy. But he reports that most of customers in last month or so have been Dems. And most all first time owners. I don't know what they're arming against. Us? Unrest? Switching sides because they see what's going on? All of the above?
I'd say all of the above. Many of this panic buying started during the early stages of the pandemic- that's when people started flocking to the gun stores. Lots of them are first time buyers, yes. But also, never underestimate your enemy. Yes, they're retarded for voting for a party that will take away the rights that they just invested in.
But there are groups like NFAC, Socialist rifle association, John Brown gun club, and other groups like this (plenty of sympathizers on reddit, r/liberalgunowners) that are as interested in firearms and training as we are.
Most likely they aren't as numerous or well trained as our side, but it's something to take into consideration.
Our small local gun store said people are just buying anything they can get their hands on, even if they don't have a gun of that caliber. They think they'll never be able to buy it again so they are going to take whatever they can get.
They'll do it methodically and in slow stages. Each stage will feel minor so there won't be mass protests. The situation will become normal then they'll enforce their next stage.
Before long you won't have many options left and you won't be able to identify the real people you are fighting against.
Right on. Slow and incremental was the old plan. “Death by a thousand cuts.” They were uncertain they had the power to do it any other way.
Trump forced there hand, they had to go all in. What did they find out? They can. They have the power to do whatever they want and nothing is going to stop them.
We had them flaunting their power and the government continually fucking us for 4 years with an R pres and senate. It’s all D’s now, and it will be full speed ahead. Laws won’t matter, constitution won’t matter. They’ve shown they’re bigger than both.
They were postponed for four years-they are pissed as f---. Now, that they believe they have complete control, they will accelerate their plans hard. I hope that it red pills a lot of people when they do.
We just wanted to vote for our president and be left alone
You do realize this attitude is the #1 reason we're in this situation, right? 5 decades at least of people who were selfish is why our country might already be dead and gone. If you want to "be left alone," go live in a country where a dictator or monarch rules. That way you don't have to be burdened with self-governance.
It has been that way here to. Last friday night people were streaming in to buy ammo. You never see lots of people buying ammo that time of night. I saw people who I knew were not gun people stocking up on ammo. People are getting ready for something. I think a lot of people are thinking the same thing I am and that we will be at war with China soon.

This is why everyone takes the trip out to the small towns... but they're running low as well (I live near a few small towns).
Best time to buy the stuff was last month. 2nd best time is right now.
Meta-Spez: AmmoSeek shows the lowest price per round of .223 Rem is 75 cents. Last year it was merely $0.45/rd on average, often cheaper.
And the year before that, .223 Rem/5.56 NATO was $0.20-0.25/rd. Never a back-order.
I heard there have been problems getting primers.

Hope so, that's a LOT of people lol

Fed goons with guns will pick us off one by one. They'll kick your door down at 3AM or they will stop you while you're driving or get you at work.
We need a national encrypted hotline and organized communities to call for aid when that happens.

I live in Canada. We line up at the clinics 2-4 hours before they open, every day of the week, for decades.
Ammoseek.com and hope the vendors actually ship
Natchez? An auspicious name if ever there was one... but I hadn't seen them before.
Right. I've been waiting on an update from the 10th.
Gun store here is always full. I've been trying to get ammo and they're always sold out.
I might have to pick up some gun with a rare caliber just to have ammo.

Only weird caliber ammo though.
Havnt seen .223 on the shelf since before december
At this point I assume it's to buy ammo, and I'm jealous that your store has enough to get people to line up for it.
Sig website has jhp 9mm in stock right now, it’s expensive but same price as always for jhp.
