Maybe, but the homeless camps have gotten more upscale. Rent is so far out of reach for some people, they buy a tent and live a somewhat normal existence. It’s the same as the favelas in Brazil, or any permanent slum anywhere, I suppose. These aren’t even drug addicts, just normal wagies living in tent cities.

A anon here posted that the military is blocking people from their apartments in dc but they left the occupied tents on the same block stay. There was even video. It’s just funny you mentioned something like this.
