I’m looking into the COGCON 2 texts. Based off of Google trends I’m assuming that people really are getting these messages and that it’s not a LARP.

However, given the current tension and political climate could this be a really clever phishing attempt? Seems like somebody could spam a text to areas with high federal employee percentages and use the link to see which numbers confirm receipt as a means of identifying which numbers are actually govt employees.

Dunno the likelihood but I figure we should consider all the possible theories before yelling IT’S HAPPENING.

I like the theory, it does seem plausible. Guess we'll wait and see how it shakes out.

+1 for name.

Houston Co pede?

Nope. But a TN pede no less. Jack Hinson's One-Man War should be required reading as it shows what happens when a reasonable man gets pushed too far.

Haven’t read the book but he was definitely the Confederate Rambo.

I had the opportunity to check out his cave near Erin a little while back so the name kinda jumped out. One of the more underrated characters of that period.

The crazy part is, he didn't even like the Confederates much, they harassed him a ton just like the Federal troops did, but when his Dutch neighbor made a false accusation that resulted in his family being raped and murdered by Federal troops, it sealed his position and he went full Rambo (if Rambo was a deadly sniper on the TN River). I suggest reading the book, it's very good.

Continuity of Government program is supposedly sending texts out notifying individuals to be on alert that they may need to report within a four hour window.

COGCON info.

4Chan threads one and two.

URL seems to go through Windows Server and our government does use Azure so it could be a contracting/outsourcing thing. Of course anyone in the world could also be using Microsoft so that’s not exactly telling one way or the other.

If you look at the link it does show it’s connected with BlackBerry Limited which could also connect to BlackBerry government services but again some text at the bottom of the page is hardly “proof” of anything.

What are you talking about?

I don't believe they would receive a text. It would be like an emergency alert. Also, anyone in Government that would share this would be in serious shit.

What was the Google numbers that gives it credibility. I only saw over 100 searches with no location associated.

Here is Hagerstown, MD

Likewise DC shows a few spikes of 18 each Texas, FL, etc are also showing a sudden rise in searches.

I’m not super familiar with google trends but I’m assuming that the numbers are reflecting searches between each “snapshot” reported The highest spike shown in the first link is 100 but there are also plenty of points in time in the 25-50 range. That could give you hundreds in Hagerstown alone.

If you consider that only a portion of recipients will Google COGCON as a result let’s say 10% then we may potentially have thousands actually receiving the messages.

If you alter your search to past day it shows spikes of searching this at 2AM in DC. When did this hit the chans?

What I’ve seen is around noon but there are references to anons in Oregon receiving texts just before 6am pacific time which should be about 3am on the Eastern seaboard.

*edit I think I did that backwards. 6AM pacific should be 9am Eastern.

Seems COGCON hasn't been searched until January 15th with a peak.

What date did POTUS send out the EO declaring an emergency?

If you are referring to the amendment of 13959 then it was the 13th.

I’m assuming if the searches on the 15th were say government workers preparing for the announcement that they would have some sort of info page to access rather than going to Google. That would lean me towards an outside person/people doing their homework. Then again Google is so ubiquitous that I can also see somebody going to Google for more information after seeing something they thought was unusual too.

A potential tell here is that the link shows “whitehouse” not “White House” but as with other clues that could be a sign of being unofficial or just a sloppy error that got missed.

Talking about him declaring state of emergency and calling NG and FEMA. He also executed one today protecting judges and law enforcement. We see 2k troops deputized. I think the text of COGCON is a hoax. You nailed it with whitehouse. I say that but my text auto corrects and I had to force that spelling. I dunno what to think.

That’s about where I stand. Strange stuff is certainly happening but we also live in strange times.

Best I’ve got is that DC is being used as a show of force to dissuade potential dissidents. The troop presence is just too damned high to make sense security wise (using 20:1 ratio they would be equipped to handle well over 40,000 protesters with NG alone). Also I would expect a more decentralized distribution with increased protection at state capitols and federal buildings across the country if we feared widespread rioting.

Likewise I don’t think it’s in response to Iran/NK because amassing division plus sized unit in DC would only increase the potential casualties if there was a strike. Not like any number of infantry would counter a ballistic missile if it slipped past our defense systems.

I’ve seen people reference DC as staging for a confrontation with China but why would you use a staging area in the wrong direction of your line of departure

Only thing I can assume is this is a symbolic show of force or that Q is real and we are truly living in a Tom Clancy novel.

If you search past day, Virginia and Maryland had the highest hits.
