So lets say one of the privates out of 10 is now sworn to be a marshal. Can he arrest another private in the same unit for maga hat? How about a conversation? how about hate speech? Can this newly sworn private arrest his sergant or an officer for hate speech? I kinda want to know how it works now. I know it was on Soviet Union but I'm not sure if this is the same regulations are now in place.

They wouldn't need to be deputized as US marshals to arrest military. The only purpose of that is to get around their inability to arrest civilians.
