Even if they had a short life, you made it infinitesimally better than they've ever had! Many people feel like losing a pet is like losing a Family member. And I don't care what anyone says, our pets ARE part of the family. They may not be human, But they are so much more than just an animal. When you think of him, if you can, try not to think of your beautiful cocker spaniel as just the end parts of his life. You had so much more than just that together. And it's unfair to whittle it down to the last days. You had 13 years of love & companionship. THAT is what's worthy of remembering for his legacy.πΎπΰ¬β α΄₯ β ΰ¬ππΎ And maybe down the road, your wife & you will bring home some lucky little rescue cat or dog to enjoy a better life.π¦ποΈπ€οΈπΎπ permalink save report block reply
