I would think they will be in control until Trump is inaugurated on March 4.

Is that how it reads? No temp president?

I am not 100%.

It may be good optics for DJT to hand over to the Military,

after signing the required invocations.

Flynn, Miller, Watnick, Pompeo in the lead.

To avoid allegations of a dictatorship and to starve the deluded.

Commander in Chief. It means Trump is in control. Until he's not. That'll be Jan 20, 2024.

This is the one answer I am sure is not correct. The constitution is very clear that his term ends. And barring a new election, he has nothing to base an extended term on. It would have to be the military taking over and forcing a new election. Trump could not be involved other than what's in the IA and as a candidate. That's my take on the Trump aspect.

He will not transfer power to the military.

I don't think so either. But with everyone thinking he will do something big, I'm just trying to understand what that could even be. I don't see any path where the military can do or would do anything. All they could do is quell civil unrest.

No one here knows

No one here knows how to google it. A terse and obscure search drowned in laws and interpretations

Just look up Insurrection Act. That will tell you all you need to know.

The way I understand it, if he invokes the Insurrection Act, then the military is in charge. If the military is in charge, then the federal judiciary is superseded by military tribunals. I may not be saying it exactly right, but the upshot is that IF Pres. Trump invokes IA, then treasonous traitors can be tried by military courts. Oh wait, isn't Sidney Powell a military lawyer :)

So there is this section:

"Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion."

But I still am not clear on how this goes past noon on Wed.

Reviewing it, I think the idea was that there would be civil unrest and obviously there is none to quell. I'm not seeing it.

I am not sure how to respond to OP's question, but I can also imagine that if he plans to invoke the IA, that he would do all he could to stabilize things, as he is doing now with EO's and pardons, right up to the last minute in order to help the country remain as stable as possible during the period of military control.

what needs stabilising ?

Are you thinking if he invokes IA everyone will sit at home and go "Cool."?

Once trump hands the reigns to the military to do their thing its in their hands until its done. Trials all through Feb ending mar 3. Why do you think those 2000 national guardsmen were sworn in as US Federal Marshalls? Trump dissolves the old US system under the english banking act, sworn in on march 4th (the original inauguration day) as president of the new American Republic with a new, debt free currency. Good luck from Canada.

Also, where do we find the wording that indicates the military remains in power? And Trump can't dissolve anything after Noon on Jan 20. He has no power after that.

You say Trump takes office, as if it's a given. What puts him there?

I am a very major Trump supporter and I do believe he won big time. But I personally would be against and join any fight against any one person being placed in that position. It must be preceded either by a new fair election, or a trial that clearly shows he won.

The trials will arrest those guilty of vote fraud. The fraudulent results will be tossed out and trump will be the winner. Weird flex I have to explain that but ok.

I was just making it clear beause you jumped right to Trump being sworn in. A lot of people tell me it's not right that trump is just pushed in and i agree. I explain to them that it has to be the fairly elected person. No matter who it is. So when you jumped, I could see how people think we are saying we will just put trump in and I wanted to clarify it.

Patton rises from the dead and leads us into space to join the Star Wars and undo the damage of Kathleen and her cabal of woke wookies!
