My conclusion is that the 'inauguration' is going to be faked digitally. The Capitol is now a giant film set. Filming will go on today, then the footage will be edited and doctored overnight (Biden gaffes fixed, crowds added in etc.), then released on the internet tomorrow. People will be told that it's happening in real time, when it's actually been prerecorded. The fence and the soldiers are there to make sure that no outsiders are able to spy on what's happening.
Because he can't utter the oath until noon on Wednesday or it doesn't count. I can say it any time I want, but it doesn't make me President. Noon on Wednesday, he can say it in whatever language or format he wants, so long as he is still legally entitled to the office, it becomes his. Though I highly suspect Trump and team have already taken away the legal standing of it.
So he is one of the 7-10k originally planned to be there, the other were sent after the 6th as political theater because Trump supporters are so "scary".
States always send NG contingents to the inauguration doent matter which individual is elected(or selected, as this case seems to be)...usually voluntary... never heard of one this large, and mostly from blue states

Except he'd be swearing in a day early. Wednesday is the big day.
Why would that be a problem?
Constitutionally, yes.
So, no?
No.
Even if they tried, it would further add to Trump's signing and executing of the Insurrection Act.

You're completely missing my point.
That's the point, they'd air the edited version they filmed on Tuesday on Wednesday.
7 to 10 k would have known. Same as last time. The rest wouldnt have.

Just giving data for a "why" or "how" so thendata doesnt get translated into a "must be this" bucket
There is always military planning for the Presidential Inauguration. Contingency planning. Not what you think
