Because he can't utter the oath until noon on Wednesday or it doesn't count. I can say it any time I want, but it doesn't make me President. Noon on Wednesday, he can say it in whatever language or format he wants, so long as he is still legally entitled to the office, it becomes his. Though I highly suspect Trump and team have already taken away the legal standing of it.
