I haven't really proposed a theory but, if you can tell me of another people, that call themselves 'people', I can put this notion to bed.
Typically Sub-Saharan African languages are simplistic and are for the "here and now". They have a relatively low word count compared to Western and Eastern languages because they weren't traditionally written down and a language that exists only in the mind of the speakers can't become too large and will tend to change relatively quickly.
Honestly I wouldn't use etymology as the basis for an African conspiracy theory because it would be impossible to follow unless you lived there during the time the thing happened and you spoke the language.
The Bantu are seemingly bound together by blood, language, and culture. There obviously is an outside influence directing some of them at the Boers. Money, weapons, technology, drugs, human trafficking, political power, that's all the motivation they need.
