The left likes to use the argument that freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences which to me sounds like a thinly veiled excuse to justify authoritarian violence against someone for hurting your feelings and it annoys me endlessly that trading actual violence for percieved offensive speech is becoming an acceptable norm
