For those who don't know the difference, you have 3 main Components, or "parts" of the US Army:
Regular Army (RA): The national, full time army at the federal level. Active Duty
Army Reserve (AR): The national, part time army at the federal level. "Weekend Warrior"
National Guard (NG) The part-time army at the STATE level that can be mobilized to operate very similarly to the AR. Another form of "Weekend Warrior"
