IMHO, they are going to desensitize us to a more militiarized government, as they have been slowly since 9/11.
They will use the 1/6 pretext as the excuse for everything.
As normies become weary of it, instead of turning on the people behind it, they will turn on us, as if it were all because of us, and if we would judt go away, tehn life can go back top normal.
Similar to how karens blame you for keeping covid around, but never care about the source or the Dem govs who pushed patients into nursing homes, and pushed lockdowns and masks.
