Dan is the real thing. I was all for the Patriot Party and not going to vote GOP ever again...until I heard his podcast last Friday addressing this.
Basically a third party will never get 270 electors in a presidential race and if the third party won it would go to congress and they would never vote for a third party. The only hope is to primary all GOP and start over taking over the GOP party. This is assuming we have fair elections in the future which we all know now we don't have fair elections.

I've always loved Dan, but I think he might be off on this one. Right now it feels like the first time in history where a 3rd party would be feasible. 80+ Million pro MAGA. And I truely believe a majority would follow. Add to that the moderate Dems who have been turned off by the insanity of the Left. We'd have at least 50% of the voting populace. Dems and Reps basically just keep their most fringe supporters. Almost makes the Dominion thing obsolete if half the country is registered to the Patriot Party and the other two parties hold like 25% each. Almost like a self draining swamp.

I agree to an extent. There are maybe 50 million and that is probably over estimating. You have to figure there are a lot of GOP that will stay GOP. The fact is though that even if a third party wins the election there would be no way to win 270 electoral votes. Sorry not gonna happen. If you win the election but no the electoral votes it goes to congress then. and guess who they are gonna vote for? Not a third party. Our system is flawed in this way to not allow third parties. Our only option is to take over the GOP and get rid of them ALL!
Why do you think there is there no way for a third party to win 270 electoral votes? Obviously, it's extremely unlikely, but let's say a third party somehow won all the same states Trump won in 2016. Are you saying the third party candidate still wouldn't win?
Agreed. Drop all the baggage/swamp of tr GOP, and start a new party based on the constitution, voter integrity, and swamp draining. It would be up to the people running the show to make sure that your average Trump voter switches, but it's of course doable. The GOP would make it hard as they can of course.

Because it would split the conservative vote between the new party and the GOP. Democrats would see the largest gains in seats ever.
