You have many things at work, two of the biggest are creative types wanting to be creative and business types wanting to make money. The business types need the creative types to be mostly happy so they make product that people want to view. So they’re given creative freedom where it can be given.
I make video games. The best video games are made by people having fun making them. The fun seems to pass to the user. Same with anything else.
Hollywood has the same politics permeating everything right now and the product is suffering. Yes, they will throw money at their leftists agenda. Transgenderism is an example of this. Appealing to this demographic does not make money yet they do it.
Cramming as many ethnic groups into a commercial about eating pringles is just trying to increase an ads appeal to said groups. In my experience.
From what I can gather, the whiteness of the white man who is white will not be properly acknowledged in make-believe relationships depicting white women. This will have the continuing effect of devaluing a white man's whiteness.
