Even if all the worst predictions come to pass, it doesn't mean its the end. It means it will be tough sledding for some time, but at this point its the best that could happen. Democrat accelerationism to communism will bring things to a head. As it is, we've been in a cold civil war with communists for 30 years and we've been getting destroyed. Best thing would be for them to push too hard too fast now as an overreaction to Trump (the first threat to their victory since JFK) and redpill all the normies left and give popular support to getting rid of them once and for all.
If the plan is to wait it out until everything falls apart on its own then we're fucked. If you think communism is coming to the West with bread lines and all you aren't redpilled, you are just drunk on the classical GOP red scare koolaid. The megacorporations like Facebook, Google, Twitter, Wal Mart, Amazon et al who are heavily pushing the democrat agenda have no reason to want to surrender all their assets to a soviet-style command economy. I think the model we are more likely to see is the Chinese model, where major corporations and the state are intimately interlinked. The difference is that China has a strong state which has a majority stake in strategic enterprises and controls them for its political purposes, whereas in the US the state will be beholden to the corporate monopolists and direct its policy in order to benefit them.
The cultural Marxism/critical theory stuff that is pushed by the government and by corporate HR departments is only used as a means to keep us divided so we are more easily controlled. It poses no threat to the elite. They use racial hatred directed at whites to feed the white middle class to an angry mob brown migrants in the hopes that the angry mob doesn't figure out who is really in charge. But I am rambling now.
The point I am trying to make is that we are not headed for a classical "breadline" type communism, but rather towards a soft totalitarian corporatocracy which is extremely stable and not prone to the kind of spontaneous collapse you are hoping for precisely because it has eliminated the critical flaws that made past systems fail such as food/consumer goods shortages and lack of entertainment. As long as everyone is well fed and has plenty of porn, drugs, and entertainment to distract themselves, the system will NEVER collapse. Look at China. The same party that killed 50 million people remains in power because they managed to give their people lots of rice and Marvel movies.

Great assessment. I think their system will not be as stable as they hope
