Which do you recommend? Are they just really soft or something?

They are just good quality sheets that have a 10-year guarantee on them. They are strong, well made, and you won't regret them.

He's quoted in the failing NYT today:

Legal question - if they sue him for defamation, libel or slander, can he and his attorneys get discovery into their systems, machines and software?

151

Yes, Dominion immediately would open up their systems to scrutiny. Dominion is bluffing, they know they would be fucked by discovery.

Spoliation. BIG no-no. Presumption would be made against Dominion.

Edit: Based Pillow Merchant would send a “notice of litigation” letter. Anything they destroy after that date, presumption in favor of pillow.

MEGAMAGAULTRA 22 points ago +22 / -0

Audit logs, or other peice of evidence found suggests that something was tampered with. But to your point there is always a chance they successfully destroy any evidence and successfully cover up any kind of audit trail.

13
Yaemz123 13 points ago +13 / -0

Well they deleted logs of 2020 election in some places, and nothing happened. Why do you thing things would work differently in this case? Laws only apply to the right, it seems.

1
Barrysstash 1 point ago +1 / -0

We’re they allowed to delete? Weren’t ballots supposed to remain for 2 years and they’ve been destroyed?

2
LirukDatan 2 points ago +2 / -0

Trump team has a Dominion machine in their possession. If Dominion tampers with the code and it doesn't match to what is presented as evidence I think they would be even more screwed.

Problem is, whether it's going to be a fair judge/court...

2
KittyCat 2 points ago +2 / -0

If they didn't produce the requested discovery (that they are known to have) they would be presumed guilty.

Is that how it works?

8
WalkedAway2018 8 points ago +8 / -0

When has that ever mattered?

2
Devildtails 2 points ago +2 / -0

It matters when you are the plaintiff alleging defamation and you tamper with evidence and bear false testimony. Dominion has no way out.

6
WalkedAway2018 6 points ago +6 / -0

Plaintiff, defamation, evidence, testimony.

These all sound like words that would be used in a court of law. Since when have the courts upheld justice? Just asking for a friend.

4
ManyDirt 4 points ago +4 / -0

But no courts care about red flags. Except for the red flag of the commies who own them

9
nakedjay 9 points ago +9 / -0

In law, even when you have proof of something you make the other side produce that evidence. If they hide it you have caught them red handed.

Trey Gowdy did this a lot in congress, he always asked questions that he knew the answers to.

They haven't sued yet. They sent a letter. To which Lin Wood replied, "File your suit."

2
voxpopuli16 2 points ago +2 / -0

Corrupt judge = summary judgment for Dominion

3
Devildtails 3 points ago +3 / -0

No way out for Dominion.

3
generated_name 3 points ago +7 / -4

Not necessarily. He would only be allowed discovery into things closely related to their suit against him, and you can bet that Dominion's lawyers would fight about even giving any of that up.

I like Mike quite a bit. He's a true patriot (and makes great products). I hope he gets through this okay; but I have to be honest and say that I don't think this will go in his favor. It makes me dislike the crap Lin Wood has been doing even more now, because not only may it end up ruining the career of Sidney Powell, an amazing lawyers, but it could take out a patriotic businessman now too.

There's a reason a lot of people and places have dropped or made changes to what they've been saying about Dominion, and a reason why trump's legal team stayed away from a lot of it. It's because half the stuff that's been allowed to spread about them isn't true. Dominion let it happen so they could clean up with these lawsuits, and then never have to answer for their real problems.

3
nimble_23 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thank you, people here throw around the word "discovery" like it's a secret law that allows you to look into everything on your opponent's side.

1
KittyCat 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well to be fair.. in family court it kinda is.

Discovery and subpoenas.

But admittedly I know almost nothing about how lawsuits work.

2
bingobangobongo69 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hopefully Mike is getting some good lawyers and not relying on Powell/Wood, or no lawyer at all. American Thinker's groveling apology makes me think good lawyers advised them this is going to be a losing case.

TIL the definition of "periotic"

Haha. I missed that one. My spell check corrected that one way wrong.

Dominion announced they would chase Sidney for $1.5 billion on defamation something like a month back....haven't seen anything on it since then so

I could have sworn I saw something about a $1.3 billion from them against her filed in DC just a week ago or so. Who really knows though. For me, it feels like an entire year has passed since November 3rd.

Like I said, I really like Mike Lindell, I have since his Whitehouse speech way back last March; so I hope he comes through this.

1
hotdogsforsale 1 point ago +1 / -0

I really like Mike too

Personally don't think any successful businessman, or a lawyer for that matter, would put themselves so far out on a limb without having the receipts to back up their words

Think whomever is left at Dominion is trying to force silence with legal threats

Should tell BLM/Antifa in 2022 that any voting machine warehouse is an undefended police ammo stockyard, they'll take care of the machines with their fire vodka

Not all defendants are in possession of the same evidence or legally prepared to litigate as others. Dominion has no way out.

25
abstr4ct 25 points ago +26 / -1

Yea, but dominion is in a potentially good spot. THEY did not steal the election, they just make shitty product that is easily exploited. DONT fall into this trap. Dominion itself may have not done anything. But that does not mean the product is not intentionally shitty. And that is HARD to prove. intent.

Be careful pillow bro.

10
generated_name 10 points ago +10 / -0

That's what has me worried too. All they'd have to do is prove they had no direct involvement.

7
abstr4ct 7 points ago +7 / -0

ding ding ding. the problem with the right is the assume morality is equivalent to legally. It is not. You be morally right and legally wrong.

6
generated_name 6 points ago +6 / -0

It almost a perfect crime:

  • Use a crappy piece of election software (possibly on purpose).
  • Unconnected people misuse it.
  • Allow unproven rumors to spread about software maker.
  • Allows rumors to mix with real evidence of election fraud.
  • Software maker sues big names for spreading a rumor.
  • Equate all facts with false rumors.
  • Suddenly no more proof of election fraud.

DaayTerkErJerbs 2 points ago +2 / -0

That was obviously their plan. The lady in Mi working with dominion said the co owner told her it's not their job to run the elections (when she pointed out they were running biden ballots repeatedly through the machines) their job was only to keep the machines running. If the D's in Detroit rigged it it was their own problem. Probably set the whole scam up this way.

1
IcyHue 1 point ago +1 / -0

Right. I guess they figured out a way to exonerate themselves. The lawsuit doesn't refer to the question if there was fraud but to what role Dominion played. They probably can prove that an "unknown third party" tempered with their machines in a way prohibited per contract.

1
Devildtails 1 point ago +2 / -1

Dominion has a duty under their contract. They undoubtedly violated that duty. Lindell, Powell, Wood, Trump all have the proof Dominion violated their duty...Dominion denies it. Dominion won’t file, and if they do file, will try some mumbo jumbo that won’t work.

17
PartTimeLoser 17 points ago +19 / -2

This is awfully stupid of them. They (Trumps legal team) would obviously have to prove their allegations are true by submitting their evidence and then dominion would be FUCKED.

8
bigmikesballsack 8 points ago +9 / -1

And it’s a civil case, so the standard is only a preponderance of the evidence.

If he 100% has evidence, then why the fuck did the VP and the GOP move forward with accepting the fraudulent electors from the battleground states?

Dominion and China being involved would "100%" overthrow the election results, due to foreign influence.

12
Johnkittz [S] 12 points ago +12 / -0

At this point, its clear nothing will matter. We can have a literal video of them actively changing votes and nothing will happen. It's all corrupt.

4
OswaldMosley 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yep. If you found a 4k video of Biden and Harris personally destroying millions of Trump ballots all you would get is 24/7 media and late night shows attacking you, the feds kicking down your door at 2am, and judges sentencing you to hard time.

2
AReckoningIsComing 2 points ago +2 / -0

The indian lady election worker in one of the hearings admitted to changing votes because she was told to and still nothing was done.

3

This is the problem with a corrupt judiciary.

Even if they destroy evidence. Even if we know they are guilty the judge can still fuck Lindell over.

We all know the CIA isn’t about to hand evidence over to him to help.

Maybe he finds a good judge but at least he has the money to make the argument either way, which is a good thing.

2

Anyone who can pay a lawyer can file a lawsuit. Doesn't necessarily go far (looking at you, SCOTUS cowards), but you can sue and get the ball rolling which gets you "discovery"-- the defendant has to turn over all evidence, good and bad.

Lin means “forest”, “sun goddess” or “gemstone” in Chinese and “flax” in French.

Also from google, Lin mean 'pretty' in latin

1
Devildtails 1 point ago +1 / -0

...and ‘Tru’

4
Monz 4 points ago +4 / -0

This is going to end badly

1
twoterms 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why?

1
Monz 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't think this lawsuit is going to turn as well as many people think it will. They are a multi billion dollar company with enough lawyers to litigate this thing for years. And juat because people say that there would be discovery it doesnt mean that dominion all of a sudden has to open their own inner workings to them. From my understanding, a lot of this case would be based on what exactly is known. And I bet you dominion can disprove enough of it to win the case. Example, the whole vote counts going to Germany just seems too out there.

Also it doesn't help that Lin Wood is just crazy at this point and is going to drag Powell down with him. And I really like the MyPillow guy and just wished he didn't go too crazy on dominion stuff.

This election fraud should have been focused on the signature ballots. The easy stuff to prove. But it got side tracked with dominion and Q.

1
twoterms 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree. However it's ridiculous that there's no code audit on election machines.

1
Monz 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yea. It just makes things suspicious. Unfortunately we only had like what two months to prove it? With no help from the government. Since when does it have to be the citizenrys job to prove an election was fair.

1
AReckoningIsComing 1 point ago +1 / -0

How did it get distracted by Q when nobody in the MSM or positions of power even acknowledge Q?

Q is a sub culture of a sub culture minority fringe. We have no power to distract anything from these lawyers. Such a lazy scapegoating. You're as bad as MSM at this point.

1
Monz 1 point ago +1 / -0

It distracted us and obfuscated the easy stuff like signature verification.

Thats the easy stuff, that should have been open and shut but then it got bogged down with talking about Venezuela and servers in Germany. We just wanted an audit of votes in suspicious counties. Thats it.

1
AReckoningIsComing 1 point ago +1 / -0

What's that got to do with Q and its followers?

As I said, Q is a subculture of a subculture. A small group. Why hasnt the normie MAGA crowd been fighting for all that? Why havent they made change if it were possible?

Q has had no affect on anything except provide an explanation for what is happening.
