It runs on a web of lies and they had to cheat harder than ever before to keep power away from us. This nation was made with an edict from God. That all men are created equal. There hasn't always been consensus among men about that, but the lord works on a lot longer time scale. Even longer than the multigenerational tactics of Communists. I offer no hope, and perhaps you could read doom in this. They are afraid of what real, honest, decent people would do with all their knowledge and power.
