Dude, just stop. Open up your eyes and take a look at modern cities in China, like Guangzhou. Look at how clean and maintained it all is. Look at the beautiful parks. Do you see any unhappy people there? What are you gonna claim? Thousands of people walking around are all paid actors?
Look at the massive food portions. Look at the impressive shops and architecture. People freak out about "learning Mandarin", but vids like these make me want to learn Mandarin and move there myself.
The largest US city I live by, Spokane, is a total fucking dump compared to this. Entire neighborhoods in Spokane should be condemned and burned to the ground.
It actually doesn’t look all that spectacular, I’m not sure what you’re looking at, but I lived in Korea before and I guarantee you that I could easily film a video 10x as appealing as this one even in one of the smaller metropolitan areas. It is completely a top down approach. Every worth while company is tied to the state which is syphoning out money for the state aka the families in the inner circle. It gives the illusion that it is not like the Russians, but this is the same pig with different makeup.
The thing that makes China even more unstable is the overreach around the world where they are trying to influence and bring other countries under their control or simply better aligned with their plans. This all adds cost and more importantly risk. The bigger you build it, the faster it will fall. We humans are not akin to all March to the same tune.
